The Hadramout Cooperative Society for Beekeepers is one of the leading societies in Hadramout, as the association was established in 2000 with a share capital among the association’s members. The association’s number reached (167) members. The association aimed to increase production, improve the standard of living for beekeepers, provide them with the necessary services, spread cooperative awareness, develop and update the method of working with bees and spread the importance of Attention to this aspect for all members of society because of its great economic and environmental importance and the role of bees in pollinating trees and striving to achieve comprehensive development
Friday also seeks to defend the rights of beekeepers and the right of society as a reciprocal relationship and to maintain the continuity of beekeeping activity in the region through awareness-raising publications, studies and research related to bees and pastures, modern breeding methods, and the study of diseases and pests to which bees are exposed, and others. The association is keen to organize and educate beekeepers with modern scientific methods for the process of breeding, picking and marketing, and opening the blight of external marketing for it because of its great importance for the individual and society.
The association follows up the relevant authorities to issue legislations that limit the use of highly toxic pesticides, regulate the relationship between the farmer and the beekeeper, so that each neighborhood is not harmed, and combat the unfair and indiscriminate cutting and pruning of trees that are a source of bee grazing and develop proposals that contribute to the preservation of bee breeds Authentic ones that resist the prevailing environmental conditions and work to improve their production qualities in coordination with the specialized scientific authorities.
Encouraging members of the community, men and women, to keep bees, making them aware of the importance of bees and their economic role as a source of individual and community income, and organizing their access to loans and financial facilities except from the association or other financing agencies.

Opening the door for subscription to increase the capital of the association.
Increase the capital of the assembly exhibition.
Purchasing a building for the association (a ready house) as a production and development center in addition to that it will be a headquarters for the association, a consulting center, a laboratory, and an export center according to the quality system. Approval and introduction of a unit for the production of safe food and medicinal alternatives to be produced locally and follow-up production and impact according to the tracking system. The center’s productivity is expected to rise and obtain An annual income of no less than 50,000 dollars for the year during the first five years.
The establishment of an export center for honey and bee products (the establishment process started with what you presented and the center needs a laboratory device to examine the active ingredient and other components of honey and a machine for packaging packaging, and this will stimulate its qualitative transfer in the bee sector)
Holding awareness sessions for beekeepers on the importance of the seven bee products and how to produce them, in a way that benefits the beekeeper and society.
Cooperating with research centers, except inside or outside Yemen, to benefit from what others have reached.
